THE CHALLENGE

Encourage constituents to vote for Ald. Sigcho-Lopez whose campaign was funded solely by the community, unlike his opponent who accepted donations from large developers, Realtors and corporations.

THE SOLUTION

Developed and implemented a bilingual digital and mail campaign to target Chicago’s 25th Ward which is predominantly Latino/a/x. 4+ million impressions with over 8,900 clicks/engagements

Paid social media ads generated an above average click through rate of .92% with 6,816 clicks/engagements. Banner ads had an industry average click through rate of .10

Multiple rounds of tailored mail reached 15,015 households in 21 different zip codes

Four mailers targeted more than 12,000 households of likely voters.

One mailer targeted more than 3,000 households in the newest part of the 25th Ward and highlighted hyper-local work done by Sigcho-Lopez.

THE IMPACT

Alderman Sigcho Lopez won re-election and beat the big money political machine that funded his opponent.
